Successful joint financing of CENTRAL PARX in Frankfurt

The project will get underway this year: CENTRAL PARX, an office building that will set new standards in terms of sustainability and a modern working environment, is being built in the immediate vicinity of the Alte Oper opera house and embedded in Rothschildpark in Frankfurt.
The total investment volume for the project is 370 million euros.Together with five local cooperative banks, DZ HYP is providing a financing amount of EUR 200 million. This makes the joint financing one of the largest commercial real estate transactions so far this year. Berliner Volksbank eG, VR-Bank Ostbayern-Mitte eG, VR-Bank Mittelfranken Mitte eG, VR-Bank Oberfranken Mitte eG and VR-Bank Bayreuth-Hof eG are involved.
The borrower is a joint venture between HanseMerkur Grundvermögen AG and the ABG Real Estate Group. As part of a joint project development, they will transform the former BHF Tower from a historic building into a forward-looking icon of the Frankfurt cityscape starting in the fall.

Construction of CENTRAL PARX will begin in the fall of this year, with completion scheduled for late 2027.
