DZ HYP is committed to sustainability in everything we do, from the environmental protection projects we launch or support to the business strategy we follow, from our efforts to empower the next generation to how we interact with stakeholders. We have set ourselves clear goals and ensure that we provide clients, partners and employees with as much transparency as possible in terms of our sustainability activities.
Health and Safety in the Workplace
We want our employees to be healthy, and committed to their work. That is why we implemented a holistic occupational health management system. Our offer goes well beyond the legal requirements, and includes various corporate sports programmes, healthy nutrition in our own canteen, occupational health and regular check-ups and consultations with our company doctor as well as health-promoting seminars. In addition to the annual AOK initiative "Cycling to Work", a Bicycle Action Day was held in 2017 in conjunction with the DG HYP department responsible for coordinating activities related to sustainability.
Employees returning after longer periods of illness are reintroduced into their working environment through our occupational re-integration. In addition, we offer ways to improve workplace ergonomics and selected HR development measures.
Workplace safety is our top priority. In addition to complying with all legal requirements and norms regarding occupational safety and health (OSH) we train our employees in these matters as soon as they join DZ HYP. Other preventive procedures include workplace inspections and dedicated OSH-related communication.
