Empowering the Next Generation

Owing to demographic change and growing competition for specialists and executives, the attraction of the employer has moved to the forefront of strategic human resources activities. DZ HYP decided to take early action against the shortage of skilled young talent by offering an 18-month trainee programme for qualified university graduates.

In addition to our trainee programme, we offer young people the classic apprenticeship to become bank officers. With a three-year dual study programme, leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Banking & Finance and a five-year programme lading to a Master of Science in Banking & Finance, we have created a further pillar to attract young talent. After two and a half years of Bachelors’ studies, participants may also take the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) examination.

In addition to these programmes, we give young people the opportunity to get to know DZ HYP through internships or student clerkships. We further support students in their academic (thesis) work.
